Our Story
Craftsmanship Rooted in Tradition
Shaniel Bespoke Tailor was founded in Hong Kong by master craftsman Richard (Rustam), who began his tailoring journey over four decades ago. What started as a passion for precision and fine fabric has grown into one of Asia's most respected bespoke tailoring houses.
Our studio, situated in the iconic Tsim Sha Tsui district of Kowloon, serves clients from every corner of the world — from London financiers and New York executives to Dubai royalty and Melbourne barristers. Each garment is a personal statement, crafted entirely by hand to your exact specifications.
We believe that true luxury lies in the details: the way a shoulder sits, how the lapel rolls, the precision of a buttonhole. These are the hallmarks of a Shaniel suit.

Master Tailor
Richard (Rustam)
Richard, known to close clients as Rustam, discovered his calling for tailoring at a young age. Trained in the classical traditions of fine tailoring, he honed his craft over decades before establishing Shaniel Bespoke Tailor in the heart of Hong Kong's Kowloon district.
His philosophy is simple: every client deserves a garment that fits perfectly, uses only the finest materials, and will stand the test of time. It is this commitment that has earned him a loyal following across six continents.
Richard personally oversees every order — from initial consultation to final fitting — ensuring the Shaniel standard of excellence is met without exception.
"A great suit does not shout — it speaks quietly of the person wearing it."
— Richard (Rustam), Founder
